screenings

Once a week, starting second week of Fall, UCJAS meets for three hours of anime-watching goodness. Screenings start at 7 PM on Tuesdays in Cox Lounge. Feel free to drop in for as little or as much time as you need to satisfy your cravings for anime! Prior to screening, we hold an officers' meeting from 6-7 PM in the same room every week. All are welcome to attend this as well. You are free to give opinions and suggestions during the meeting regardless of officer status, but you will not be able to participate in any votes taken during the meetings until you too become an officer. We watch 2-3 series per quarter, none of which can have been shown within the last 4 years, and we have a single grab-bag episode per weekly screening. Grab-bags must be the first episode of a series that has never before been seen in club. They are chosen by the Acquisitions Officer and range from the best new sports series of the season to the captivating tale of a certain high-school glasses club.
